Rájnis József, Kőszegi: A’ magyar Helikonra vezérlő kalaúz. Az az: A’ magyar vers-szerzésnek példái, és regulái
Posonyban, 1781. Landerer Mihály. (16)+158+(2)+90p.
The starting piece of the first public Hungarian literary debate, the so-called "prosodic battle". First, Mátyás Ráth responded to the Jesuit author's somewhat personal writing, and then several others joined the dispute, including Batsányi and Dávid Szabó Baróti. In the following year, Rájnis responded to the attacks on him with the title "A Magyar Helikon kalauzának beszerzése", which was included in a part of the (until then unsold) copies, just like in the case of this lot.
Bound with:

(Győr, 1783.) Josephus Streibig. (44)p.
