„Rede des Führers bei der Abendtafel zu Ehren des ungarischen Reichsverwesers Admiral von Horthy am 24. August 1938 in Berlin. DRB.-Ausgabe v. 25. Aug. 1938., Nr. 1331. – A Führer, Adolf Hitler Horthy Miklós admirális, Magyarország kormányzója tiszteletére rendezett díszvacsorán 1938. augusztus 24-én mondott beszédének a DRB. (Deutsche Richterbund) a (Német Bírák Szövetsége) által 1938. aug. 25-én kiadott 1331. számú tájékoztató levele, közlönye, amely közli és idézi a díszvacsorán elhangzott beszédet. Hitler beszédében méltatja Horthy és a magyar nép történelmi barátságát. (Berlin, 1938. aug. 25. DRB. (Deutsche Richterbund) 1 lev. 1 nyomtatott oldal. (23,5 x 33 cm) 1938. augusztus 20-án, Berlinben titkos tárgyalások kezdődtek. 1938. augusztus 21-én, a Horthy Miklóssal folytatott tárgyalások során Adolf Hitler ajánlatot tett Magyarországnak Csehszlovákia felosztására. Horthy visszautasítása egy évvel elodázta a háborút. A hatnapos tárgyalások tehát eredménytelenül végződtek, ráadásul augusztus 28-án Magyarország megkötötte a kisantanttal a bledi egyezményt, melyben – a fegyverkezési egyenjogúság elismeréséért cserében – lemondott arról, hogy fegyverrel érvényesítse területi követeléseit.
