1962. 'Coupe de l'Europe Centrale / Vainqueur - 1962 (Közép-európai Kupa / Győztes 1962)' peremén jelzett arany díjérem az öt résztvevő ország zománcozott címerével, eredeti tokban (17,05g/0.585/31mm). A Közép-európai Kupában öt ország klubcsapatai vettek részt, ezek Magyarország, Jugoszlávia, Ausztria, Olaszország és Csehszlovákia voltak. 1962-ben az olasz Bologna és a Vasas nézett farkasszemet a döntőben, amely akkor még oda-visszavágós volt. Az első találkozón 1962. szeptember 26-án a Vasas 30000 néző előtt 5-1-re győzött a Népstadionban Bundzsák Dezső mesternégyesével és Machos Ferenc találatával. Az angyalföldiek az október 17-i visszavágót ugyan 2-1-re elvesztették, de 6-3-as összesítéssel így is megnyerték a kupát. A Vasas egyébként összesen hat alkalommal hódította el a trófeát, ezzel pedig a kupasorozat történetének legsikeresebb klubja. A sorozat 1992-ben megszűnt. T:1 patina 1962. Club teams from five countries participated in the Central European Cup, these were Hungary, Yugoslavia, Austria, Italy and Czechoslovakia. In 1962, the Bologna from Italy and the Vasas from Hungary faced each other in the final, which was still a back-and-forth match. On the first match on September 26th, 1962, in the Népstadion in front of 30,000 spectators, Vasas won 5-1 by Dezső Bundzsák's four, and Ferenc Machos' one goal. The Vasas lost the rematch on October 17th by 2-1, but they still won the cup 6-3 on aggregate. By the way, Vasas is the most successful club in the history of the cup series, they won the trophy six times. The series ended in 1992. C:UNC patina
