Az első kötet (Volumen Primum: Adnotationes in Psalmos, et Christiani Ben. Michaelis., in Proverbia Salom) sajnos hiányzik! Összesen három kötet jelent meg.
Johann Heinrich Michaelis (1668-1738) protestáns teológus és orientalista Hallében élt, ahol kulcsszerepet játszott Halle bibliai, keleti és szlávisztikai kutatói nemzedékében. Francke közeli munkatársa, Michaelis pietista volt, aki Franckéhoz hasonlóan mélyen elkötelezett a bibliai filológia és a héber nyelv tanulmányozása iránt… Köteteink: Az Ószövetség hagiográfiai könyveinek kritikai kiadása. Az első, hiányzó kötet a szerző kommentárját tartalmazza a Zsoltárok könyvéhez, és Christian Benedikt Michaelis a Példabeszédek könyvéhez. A második kötet Öt Megilloth és az Énekek éneke. A harmadik kötet a szerző Dániel könyvéhez, Ezra-Nehémiához és a Krónikákhoz írt kommentárjait tartalmazz.
A két kötet egységes, korabeli, bordázott gerincű, egészpergamen-kötésben, gerincükön tussal írt címadatok, korához képest is nagyon jó állapotban. Mindkét kötet címlapján tulajdonosi névbejegyzés.
