Las Cases márki (1766-1842) I. Napóleon bizalmas híve, aki Szt. Ilonára is elkísérte.
A forradalom kitörésekor emigrált, Condé alatt hazája ellen harcolt, részt vett a Quibéron ellen indított expedicióban és ennek kudarca után Angliában élt, mint nyelvmester. Brumaire 18. után visszatért Franciaországba és kiadta Lesage álnév alatt az Atlas historique című művét 1804-ban. Híressé a Szent Ilona emlékműve c. könyve tette.
Kiadói, keretdíszes, keménytáblás kartonkötésben. Az első tábla leszakadt, sarka letört, a gerince hiányzik. Szépen színezett lapjai jó állapotban. Ritka mű, 36 lappal teljes.
