Kiadói kolligátum. Ez a könyv Jászberényi P. Pál (Fogaras, 1630 körül - London,1678), erdélyi református teológus, nyelvtaníró nagysikerű latin-angol nyelvkönyvének negyedik, 1670-es kiadása. Tanulmányait Sárospatakon kezdte, ahol Comeniust is hallgatta, majd Gyulafehérváron folytatta. Tanította I. Rákóczi Ferencet és Bethlen Miklóst is. 1659-ban érkezett Angliába, ahol Institutionum grammaticarum pars prima (1663) c. művének folytatásaként 1664-ben adta ki először a Fax nova Linguae Latinae, A New Torch of the Latine Tongue című, nagysikerű, Nathaniel Brooke kiadónál megjelent könyvét. Jászberényi latin nyelviskolát működtetett a londoni Charing Crosson, mindkét fenti művet alighanem tanítási jegyzeteiből írta. Különleges sikeréről Bethlen Miklós is beszámol önéletírásában.
A Fax nova… latin és angol előszaván kívül számos latin üdvözlő verset tartalmaz alkalmi magyar költőktől, akik ekkor (főleg teológiai tanulmányokat végezve) Hollandiában vagy Angliában tartózkodtak. A kötet ajánlói között szerepel Edmund Castell, a híres nyelvész is. A latin nyelvkönyv e kiadása megtalálható az OSZK Apponyi-gyűjteményében, de Magyarországon elég ritka.
