Színezetlen rézmetszet, a térkép mérete: 235 X 330 mm., körül a szöveggel: 350 X 460 mm.
Megjelent: Henri Chatelain: Atlas Historique…, Amsterdam, 1719.
A térkép Passautól a Fekete-tengerig ábrázolja a Duna vonalát.
Henri Abraham Chatelain (1684-1743) párizsi hugenotta lelkész volt. Fő műve az Atlas Historique…, amelyet 1705 és 1720 között hét kötetben publikáltak. Ez az enciklopédikus munka a kontinensek története és genealógiája volt, és olyan témákat tárgyalt, mint a földrajz, a kozmográfia, a topográfia, a heraldika és néprajz. Az atlasz készítésében közreműködött apja Zacharias, öccse szintén Zacharias, valamint Nicolas Gueudeville geográfus. A térképeket Henri készítette, nagyrészt Guillaume Delisle munkája felhasználásával…
