The author is an evangelical pastor, and he is credited with numerous linguistic works. In this piece, he discusses the differences between the Czech and Slovak languages. It can be considered the first independent Slovak grammar with a collection of sayings at the end. From a Hungarian point of view, it is exciting that the publication of the volume was supported by Mátyás Bél, who also wrote the foreword. In it, he explains that the people under the authority of the Holy Crown - regardless of their nationality - can declare themselves Hungarians. Rare work.
Contemporary leather.
