Az előzéklapon ajándékozási bejegyzés: „Emlékül dr. Masznyik Endre theol. akad. igazgató Urnak… őszinte tisztelettel.”
Agh István, sepsi-szentkirályi (1709-1786). Unitárius püspök Erdélyben, (Szentábrahámi Lombard Mihály halála után, 1758-tól). E művében fektette le az unitárius egyház teológiájának alapjait. A szerzőséget Szinnyei neki tulajdonítja, de megemlíti, hogy Jakab Elek szerint ezen munkát Szentábrahámi Lombard Mihály püspök írta…
Dúsan aranyozott gerincű, vaknyomásos, későbbi egészbőr-kötésben, pirosra festett lapszélekkel. Reprezentatív példány, nagyon ritka.
